National Expo on Eco Alternatives to SUP & Startup Conference 2022
The Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board in Co-ordination with the Government of Tamil Nadu and Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India is organising a National Expo on Eco Alternatives to banned Single Use Plastics (SUP) and Conference for Starts-Ups 2022 on 26th & 27th September 2022 at Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The objectives of the Expo are as follows:
- Exhibit the eco alternative products for SUPs and Sales of the products
- Exhibit of machineries used for manufacture of Eco-alternative and Eco friendly products,
- Interaction with stakeholders
- Funding opportunity for the Start-Ups.
The National Expo on Eco Alternatives
The National Expo on Eco Alternatives will be inaugurated by Bhupender Yadav, Hon’ble Union Minister for Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India in the presence of Dr. L Murugan, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India and Thiru. Siva. V. Meyyanathan, Hon’ble Minister for Environment, Climate Change & Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Government of Tamil Nadu on 26th September 2022.
The Startup Conference 2022:
The Start-Up Conference is to be inaugurated by Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India in the presence of Siva. V. Meyyanathan, Hon’ble Minister for Environment, Climate Change & Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Government of Tamil Nadu on 27th September 2022.
Special dignitaries including Secretaries of various Ministers of Government of India and Chairmen, State Pollution Control Boards/Pollution Control Committees would be attending the event.
