Korakari is a startup based out of Kolhapur, Maharashtra engaged in designing and manufacturing of world class leather products throughly deeply rooted Kolhapuri tradition. The company’s main product is high quality and attractive handmade leather sandals- Kolhapuri Leather Chappals in a variety of style, design and colours, such as typical Kapsi, Paper Kapsi, Kurundvadi, Shahu, High heel, Platform heel, Pointed, T-shape chappals.
The company is also exporting these products to customers all across the world including USA, Australia, Middle East and Singapore.
They make the Chappal using export quality buff and goat leathers. Their craftsmen are professional in making them. Most noteworthy is that the product is totally handmade. There are various manual processes like Mapping, Cutting, Skiving, Pasting, Embossing, Marking, Stitching, Punching, Grinding, Colouring etc.

Dr. Dileep More
In 1973, Shri. Satappa Dhondiram More established the proprietary manufacturing firm “The More & Company” for Kolhapuri Leather Chappals at Mhalunge village of Kolhapur District, Maharashtra, India.
In July 2014, his son, Dr. Dileep More, PhD from IIT Bombay established the company “Divyam Leather Crafts Pvt Ltd.” to carry on the legacy and gave it the brand name of Korakari. His vision is to provide these hand made, traditional iconic sandals to customers across the world. His is focused to scale the company by combining modern design & world class quality yet maintaining traditional and hand made approach.
