Krishnamani – Enchanting Kanjeevaram, with Zari Work
Krishnamani is a Bangalore-based designer with a penchant for reviving yesteryear weaves and motifs. Each collection uses textiles from a corner of India, steeped in tradition. The brand started out as a personal project with a goal of restoring heritage saris. Then the entire focus shifted to creating a line that is exclusively dedicated to upcycled drapes.
The designer’s philosophy is based on amalgamating traditional Indian art with a contemporary outlook. You can expect to find rich textiles, bold colours. & fine embroidery weaving unique stories. Each collection uses textiles from a corner of India, steeped in tradition. An ensemble of lehengas, sarees, jackets, straight kurtas, and trousers weave together the wardrobe.
Krishnamani – Kanjeevaram Collection
Krishnamani has launched a collection in enchanting Kanjeevaram, laden with Zari work. The designer has been reviving the dying tradition of royal weaves bearing the crest and life of the erstwhile Mysore kingdom of Southern India. The collection is steeped in heritage, interpreting the regal South with contemporary style.
