Fit India Movement was launched by Hon’ble PM, Shri Narendra Modi on 29th August 2019, with an aim to take the nation on a path of wellness and fitness. The nationwide movement aims to make fitness an integral part of daily life of every Indian citizen. As part of the movement, Fit India Mission is launching:

Cyclothon: 7th-31st December 2020

The disruption created by COVID-19 has significantly changed people’s perception of walking and biking. We now know more than ever that it is equally important to remain active, inculcate positive habits and spread the message of physical and mental well-being. Cycling is one of the best ways to remain fit and healthy. It is the new craze that combines fitness with fun and allows us to maintain social distancing.

Thematic Campaign: 1st – 31st December 2020

  • Employees are encouraged to upload their Short 10-30 sec easy fitness/cycling videos on social media handles with message “Fitness ka dose, aadha gandha roz” & #NewIndiaFitIndia
  • Employees can share squats / push ups /pull ups / running / yoga / fitness videos on their social media handles

Fit India movement calls on every organisation of our country to take this time in maintaining a healthy, fit and active body for all their employees through cycling & Fitness activities. We believe that through such physical activities can help organisations keep employees motivated and energized which in turn will result in an increase in productivity & overall happiness quotient.

Age Appropriate Fitness Protocols:


On 24th September 2020, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the Fit India Movement, PM Modi launched the Age Appropriate Fitness Protocols via virtual conferencing. These fitness protocols, developed in Indian context, simple tests and basic guidelines to stay fit and active. These Age Appropriate Fitness Protocols and Guidelines have been jointly developed by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare along with Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.
